My red Chow chow called Georgia attracted a lot of attention which she was pretty much naive to.I loved her dark almond shaped eyes which looked like she wore eyeliner, her blue tongue, her chunky paws and her soft soft coat. As a pup she came to me toilet trained and kept the most meticulous dignified toilet habits. She loved a daily nature walk and equally enjoyed staying indoors with mum. She always slept in the bedroom doorway, guarding us. Only barked to warn us. She never climbed onto the bed or lounge, she was happy to sit nearby taking it all in. She enjoyed to lick my feet and sometimes even sat on them. Whilst quite willful at home she was eager to please at training school. Georgia loved to say hello to visitors and other dogs after which she was happy to do her own thing. She had the aloofness like a cat. I loved the 'happy fits' Georgy had to welcome me home. Unless you've lived with a Chow you don't know what an amazing breed they are. Georgy was a live teddy bear, you can't beat that!

My Chow/Malamute mix Uki loves to sit on the couch, in my recliner or at the end of the bed with his nose pointed at the window fan. Hi favorite thing to do in the summer is hanging out in his $10.00 kiddie pool.

Hi my name ia Gina. I have a 5 year old Male Chow chow and his name is Bear. He is a wonderful dog and very loyal, not vicious at all and he has been attacked by a couple of pitbulls. My chow is 45 pounds and can beat a 100 pound pitbull only if he is attacked first he will not attack another pitbull. He loves little dogs (I am not sure if he likes cats or not because he has never been around one but he is very curious) he is very gental with little kids as long as he is introduced first to people. He is very well Behaved. I am looking very hard for a female chow to breed with my male chow.

Please Contact me Gina Hanna if you know anyone with in Nova Scotia. The only thing i desire is the pick of the litter. My Number is 1-902-252-6601

THank you, I would very much appreciate any calls at all.

I have had my dear "Teddy Bear" for 6 years now. He is quite a lover (to me!) He loves my feet and I actually don't much like the whole licking process but when I come home and kick off my shoes, he always tries to get a couple of licks in! Crazy! I think a Chow Chow is perfect for apartment living, especially if you live in a warmer climate. They don't like to walk much when it is warm. I personally own a house with a yard and he in the summer and spring he does his business and wants back in, however in the winter, I have to get up early to let him out so he can play and lay in the snow for about an hour. Bear is my first Chow Chow and now I will ALWAYS have one! They are the best dogs ever!
